Der "Leverback"-Verschluss ist eine Kombination aus englischem und französischem Verschluss. Ein gebogener, dünner Stift (Halböse) wird ins Ohr gesteckt und hinter dem Ohrläppchen in die Nut einer beweglichen Bügel eingehakt. Da der Stift länger ist als bei einem englischen Verschluss, ist diese Befestigung weniger anspruchsvoll bezüglich der Dicke des Ohrläppchens.
